Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated India's longest bridge on
Bramhaputra river that connects North Eastern states of Assam and Arunachal
Pradesh, locally known as the Dhola-Sadiya bridge. Officially, the
bridge has been named Bhupen Hazarika bridge. This will have a large
impact on economy as essentials and produce from Arunachal Pradesh can
come to Assam easily and vice versa.
