Xiaomi has confirmed Mi 11 India launch date for April 23. This is company's first truly flagship smartphone in the country. The phone has already been launched in China. So, we know its design and specifications. We also know that the phone is tipped to cost around Rs 70,000, making it one of the most expensive Xiaomi smartphones in India. Now, we have learnt that the smartphone will go on sale on Amazon India.

The e-commerce website has started teasing the launch of the phone. There is a banner on Amazon India which confirms that the phone will be selling on it. Apart from this, the flagship is also expected to be available through Mi.com and Mi Home stores.

The smartphone features a 6.81-inch sAMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB of UFS 3.1 fast storage. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast wired as well as wireless charging.

Mi 11 Ultra features a triple rear camera setup including a primary 50-megapixel Samsung GN2 sensor with OIS, a secondary 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 periscope telephoto lens with OIS, and a 48-megapixel Sony ultra-wide unit. On the front, there is a 20-megapixel camera.

How much should Mi 11 Ultra cost?

There is no doubt that the Mi 11 Ultra is a very exciting smartphone. It's success, however, will depend on how Xiaomi prices it. There are reports suggesting that the phone will cost Rs 69,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is likely to cost Rs 74,999. At this price, the Mi 11 Ultra will be more expensive than the OnePlus 9 Pro in India for both the variants. Xiaomi would not be in that situation.

In China, the Mi 11 Ultra price starts at CNY 5,999 (around Rs 66,400) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs CNY 6,499 (around Rs. 72,000) while the top-of-the-line 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is priced at CNY 6,999 (around Rs 77,500) for. The phone comes in Black and White colour options, along with a White Ceramic Special Edition.
