LinkedIn's CEO Jeff Weiner resigns from CEO post; passes the buck to Ryan Roslansky
LinkedIn's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jeff Weiner has resigned from his post after 11 years at the helm of the company. He will become executive chairman while Ryan Roslansky who is currently the senior vice-president of product will become CEO as of June 1, Microsoft said in a statement on Wednesday.
Over 5 crore farmers yet to get third installment of money under PM-Kisan scheme
Over fifty million farmers were yet to get the third installment of money under the Centre's ambitious PM-Kisan scheme, aimed at providing direct support of Rs 6,000 annually to them, according to the latest Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare data. The total amount of the scheme, which came into effect on December 1, 2018, is to be paid in three equal instalments of Rs 2,000 every four months. The data showed about 25.1 million farmers have not got even the second installment and 51.6 million of them were yet to get the third installment.

Three dead, scores hurt, in Turkey plane accident
Three people have died and 179 were injured when a plane skidded off the runway at an Istanbul airport, caught fire and split into three after landing in rough weather. Several people were seen climbing through a large crack in the severed aircraft and escaping onto one of the wings at the rear. The plane was apparently buffeted by strong winds and heavy rain lashing Istanbul, Turkey's largest city.
