Apple is all set to broadcast the launch of the new iPhones from the event being conducted at Apple Park in Cupertino. The mega-tech company is estimated to launch three new iPhones. The event will start at 10:30 pm IST and can be streamed live from all Apple devices including iPhone, iPad, and even iPod Touch running on iOS 10 or later. Mac users will need macOS Sierra 10.12 or later operating systems. The link to the event can be accessed using a Safari browser. Streaming to Apple TV via AirPlay requires an Apple TV (2nd generation or later) with the latest Apple TV software or tvOS.

For non-iOS enthusiasts, the user will need the Edge browser found on Windows 10 to watch the event. Other operating systems without any of the above-mentioned platforms may also be able to access the live stream using recent versions of Chrome or Firefox (MSE, H.264, and AAC required).

What to expect?

The company's highest selling product line-up will see a major upgrade during the event. As mentioned earlier, there are three new iPhones that will be launched on Sept 12. The first will be an updated iPhone X, called iPhone Xs. It will come with the same footprint as last year's flagship but with updated features and specs.

The second device will be a 'Max' version of the iPhone Xs and is expected to be called iPhone Xs Max. Apple has skipped the 'Plus' monicker to justify the jump in screen size; from iPhone 8 Plus' 5.5-inch screen to a mega 6.5-inch screen.

The third device will be the most exciting of the three. This device will by no means qualify as a flagship. Instead, Apple will be launching this iPhone Xr/XE at a much lower cost than the other two models. This variant will come with a screen size of 6.1-inch. The display use an LCD panel instead of a pricey OLED panel. Apple's event will focus on the launch of iPhones but the American company will also launch the next generation Apple Watch Series 4.
