These are the top 10 Arts colleges of the country

1. Lady Shri Ram College

Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR), Delhi has ranked No. 1 in the best arts colleges in the country. ""LSR slowly takes you in, giving you the space to find your own rhythm, and then challenges your notions. It teaches you to embrace differences, to acknowledge the culture of dissent, to question, discuss and deliberate," Unnati Singhal, the cultural secretary of the LSR students union said.
2. Loyola College

Loyola College, Chennai, ranks  No. 2 in the list. " The re-structuring of curriculum of both for UG and PG courses has drawn great appreciation from the stakeholders, namely the students, alumni, parents and industrial partners," the college says on its website.
3. Christ University

Dept of Humanities & Social Sciences, Christ University, Bengaluru  ranks No 3 in the  best Arts colleges rankings.
4. St. Xavier's College

St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, which stands 4th on the list, has been popular among students across all disciplines. It was awarded A-grade by NAAC in 2013.
5. Miranda House

Miranda House, Delhi secured 5th place in the list. "Miranda is for those women who shall be pioneers, for those who shall experiment with the cutting edge of contemporary thought and creative expression, for those who shall dare give shape to their aspirations and cherished dreams," Pratibha Jolly, Principal of Miranda House said.
6. Hansraj College

On 6th place is Hansraj College, Delhi. The premier institute under the DAV Managing Committee is well-known across the country for its Arts and Science faculty.
7. Shri Ram College of Commerce

Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi came 7th on the list. The mission of the renowned institution, as on its website reads, "To achieve and sustain excellence in teaching and research, and enriching local, national and international communities through our research, the skills of alumni, and the publishing of academic and educational materials."
8. Hindu College

Hindu College ranks  No. 8 in the list. It is awarded A+ grade in the first cycle grading by the NAAC. "Hindu College endeavors to nurture students with a keen analytical and scientific bent of mind with a sensitivity to their responsibilities and human values so that they are amongst the best citizens of India," the college says in its website.
9. Ramjas College

Ramjas College stands at No. 9 in the best arts colleges in the country.
10. Madras Christian College

Madras Christian College, Chennai ranks No. 10 in the list. The college was one among the first institutions in the country to be granted Autonomy in 1978.
